Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB) is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant in Weymouth, MA. This entry-level role provides free training and supports patient care, data collection, and clinical workflows under supervision.

You will perform vision tests, patient data collection, and maintain records while developing toward certification as a JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant within 24 months from hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! FREE TRAINING PROVIDED!
• 0-1 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant. We Will Train! 1-2 years working in a fast-paced environment. 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service industry.

Mansioni

• Assist the physician in gathering patient data and maintaining a conducive clinical environment.
• Conduct visual acuity testing, visual field testing, lensometry, auto refractometry, refractometry, pupil assessment, extraocular motility.
• Perform applanation tonometry, tonopen, eye drop instillation, and related diagnostic testing.
• Maintain patient medical records and support efficient and organized workflow.
