Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB) in Yarmouth, MA is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant. This entry level role offers full time 30-40 hours with free training and no nights or weekends. You will support clinicians with acuity tests, measurements, and patient data in a fast-paced eye care setting.

Responsibilities include conducting tests, maintaining records, and contributing to a positive patient experience while learning to become certified as an Ophthalmic Assistant within 24 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• No experience required; free training provided.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual acuity testing and assist with visual field testing.
• Conduct lensometry, auto refractometry and refractometry.
• Assess pupil reactions and extraocular motility.
• Assist with applanation tonometry and tonometry measurements.
• Assist with eye drop instillation and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain patient records and support clinical workflow.
