Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, de-watering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment at a refinery/industrial facility under direct supervision.

You will learn to operate pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed and other equipment, collect samples, log readings, and support preventative maintenance while working in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge and de-watering equipment to meet specs.
• Learn to operate pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers, conveyors, blowers and related gear.
• Work in a team environment and accept new responsibilities as needed.
• Keep the area neat and clean; collect samples and perform routine testing.
• Log process readings and perform unit rounds.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and general equipment upkeep.
