Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager for the Operations Group/Transformation Services to lead large, complex transformation engagements with private equity clients. You will design and implement cost-reduction strategies, restructure leadership and back-office functions, and drive EBITDA improvement through data-driven insights and practical delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, cross-functional coordination, and the development of strategic recommendations across margin management,

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional industry or consulting experience implementing cost reduction programs, organizational restructuring, and / or cost structure improvements.
• MBA from a top-tier school highly preferred.
• Experience working with PE and/or PE relationships and experience in both professional services and industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements by working closely with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions.
• Identify opportunities to significantly reduce cost structure by changing leadership structures, staffing levels, and back-office improvements.
• Synthesize meaningful insights from data, opinions, or facts to enhance EBITDA and operating efficiencies.
• Implement programs to reduce cost structure, including changes to roles and responsibilities, processes, and workforce reductions.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Hands-on experience through consulting projects in margin management, pricing, product rationalization, S&OP, sourcing and global supply chain, organizational structure and effectiveness, non-labor cost efficiency, KPI development, and cash management.
