Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for the Operations Group/Transformation Services to lead and deliver large, complex engagements with private equity partners, focusing on performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. You will guide leadership teams through structured programs, staffing realignments, and process improvements to drive EBITDA and cash flow enhancements.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, MBA preferred, and demonstrated success in professional services and/or

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional industry or consulting experience implementing cost reduction programs.
• MBA from a top-tier school highly preferred.
• Experience working with PE relationships and experience in both professional services and industry a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex engagements with Private Equity leadership.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost structure by changes in leadership, staffing, and back-office functions.
• Synthesize data and insights to enhance EBITDA and operating efficiency.
• Implement programs to reduce costs, including new roles, processes, and workforce reductions.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Contribute across areas such as margin management, S&OP, supply chain, organizational structure, non-labor cost efficiency, KPIs, SG&A cost reductions, and working capital management.
