Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager in Operations Group/Transformation Services to lead performance-improvement engagements for PE-backed portfolios across the US. You will structure plans, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive execution with PE leadership.

With 7–10 years of consulting experience and an MBA preferred, you will develop findings, recommend actions, and deliver measurable EBITDA improvements while navigating complex transformations for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional industry or consulting experience implementing cost reduction programs.
• Depth in a particular industry vertical is a plus.
• Experience working with PE and/or PE relationships a plus; experience in both professional services and industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering large, complex engagements for private equity portfolio companies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost structure by changing leadership and staffing, improving back-office efficiency.
• Synthesize insights from data and facts to improve EBITDA and operating performance.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Hands-on experience across margin management, Sales & Ops planning, supply chain, and KPIs.
