Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead frontline staff and support the Safety Above All culture. You will manage daily sortation operations, coach employees, and ensure compliance with FedEx policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluations and addressing staff concerns while optimizing productivity and safety. Role requires strong communication skills and ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in package handling or supervisory roles or related military experience.
• In lieu of experience, associate degree or 2+ years of college toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and staff to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate and manage staff performance.
• Plan and organize staffing, direct daily operations and control costs.
• Communicate operational updates and goals in daily planning meetings.
