You will oversee package sortation, coach and develop a team, and ensure compliance with FedEx policies and regulations across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisory or relevant experience in fast-paced settings.
• Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All Culture and supports related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize and manage staff performance, conduct evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient package sortation.
• Analyze performance data and identify improvement opportunities; implement action plans.
• Lead daily staff meetings; communicate operational updates to small and large groups.
• Participate in development and administration of employee relations and safety programs.
• Investigate and escalate customer service issues as appropriate.
• Train new employees on duties, standards, and FXG policies and procedures.
• Mentor and develop junior Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt quickly to change and maintain appropriate sense of urgency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
