Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and oversee day-to-day package sortation with an assigned team. The role includes managing staff, coaching, and ensuring adherence to FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities extend to supervising administrative functions, improving key performance metrics, and leading training on safety practices and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college towards a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Six (6) months experience in package handler or supervisory roles in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and manage assigned staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; manage discipline and performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training on quality assurance, SWAK, and dock safety; mentor less-experienced supervisors.
• Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates and goals.
