Job summary

Jobtailor in Stillwater, OK is seeking a qualified plasma center professional to supervise donor flow, ensure adherence to FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, and internal procedures. You will lead donor selection, plasma collection and records, and train staff.

Responsibilities include documenting records, maintaining a clean facility, and coordinating with Center Manager. This role supports donor satisfaction and quality across the center.

Qualifications

  • Must have HS diploma or GED.
  • Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, Designated Trainer certifications required.
  • Typically 4 years of related phlebotomy/donor/plasma processing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center.
  • Fulfill production employee duties and supervise donor flow.
  • Maintain familiarity with state and federal regulations, FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, and internal procedures.
  • Supervise donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records.
  • Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of necessary records.
  • Help maintain a neat and clean facility and keep equipment in good working order.
  • Submit timely and accurate reports to the Center Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
  • Assist in controlling center donor funds.
  • Assist in training new employees and retraining current employees.
  • Communicate with other service areas to ensure accurate documentation and quality.
  • Build rapport with donors to support customer satisfaction and long-term donation.
  • Report unsafe situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor, or manager.
  • May be trained to repair plasma center equipment.
  • Assist management with tasks necessary to pursue company objectives.

Job description

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer
  • Typically requires 4 years of related experience performing phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties
  • Demonstrated proficiency handling difficult situations
  • Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and infectious organisms
  • Ability to work with electrical office and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to work in extreme cold below 32 degrees F while performing functions in plasma freezers
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-gear
  • Ability to stand for up to 4 to 6 hours per day and sit for 1 to 2 hours per day
  • Ability to bend and twist the neck for 1 to 2 hours per day
  • Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
  • Frequent foot movement; ability to squat, crouch, or sit on one's heels on rare occasion
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
  • Hearing acuity essential
  • Correctable near and far vision; color perception/discrimination
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
  • Ability to work independently and follow oral or written instructions
  • Ability to perform a wide range of tasks under variable demands and changing conditions
  • Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
