Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Plasma Center role to oversee donor processing and plasma collection, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and SOPs. The candidate will supervise donor flow, maintain records, and train staff in a plasma center environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, and documentation accuracy while supporting management objectives and donor relations to promote ongoing donations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer certifications.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience performing phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties.
• Demonstrated proficiency in handling difficult situations.
• Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and infectious organisms.
• Ability to stand 4–6 hours, sit 1–2 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Communication of instructions and ability to work independently.

• Submit timely and accurate reports to the Center Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
• Assist in controlling center donor funds.
• Train new employees and retrain current employees.
• Communicate with other service areas to ensure accurate documentation and quality.
• Build rapport with donors to support customer satisfaction and long-term donation.
• Report unsafe situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor, or manager.
• May be trained to repair plasma center equipment.
• Assist the Center Manager and/or Assistant Manager with tasks supporting company objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience performing phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties
• Demonstrated proficiency in handling difficult situations
• Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and infectious organisms
• Ability to use personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-gear
• Ability to stand for up to 4 to 6 hours per day and sit for 1 to 2 hours per day
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, crouch, and perform frequent hand and foot movements
• Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.

• Ability to communicate and understand spoken and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and under oral or written guidance
