Job description

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality
• Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions
• Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality
• Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines
• Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment
• Work in a plasma center while following occupational safety and protective-equipment requirements

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Patient and reliable, with commitment to keeping donors comfortable and happy
• Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day
• Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day
• Frequent hand movement and ability to make fast, simple finger, hand, and wrist movements
• Ability to make precise coordinated finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects
• Ability to walk up to 6-8 hours per day
• Ability to lift 15 lb. routinely, with a maximum lift of 50 lb.
