Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Plasma Donor Technician in Birmingham, AL to support donor screening and plasmapheresis operations. You will establish rapport with donors, monitor donor health, and ensure product quality while strictly maintaining donor confidentiality and safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, flexible scheduling, and the ability to work around biological fluids and cold environments. Training on PPE usage and safety procedures will be provided.

  • Ability to bend and twist the neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day.
  • Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements.
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
  • Essential hearing acuity and correctable vision requirements.
  • Ability to work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold.
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment.
