Job summary

Horizon Environmental in Texas is seeking an entry-level Operations Resource Coordinator to support planning and scheduling of workforce, fleet, and equipment across multiple projects. Reporting to the COO, you will analyze operational performance and help drive efficiency through data-driven reporting and resource optimization.

This role offers hands-on experience in workforce planning, fleet management, and continuous improvement within a growing environmental services company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workforce, fleet, and equipment assignments to support ongoing operations.
• Maintain the Operations Resource Board, ensuring real-time visibility of personnel, equipment, and fleet availability.
• Balance resources across multiple projects while minimizing downtime and conflicts.
• Forecast staffing, equipment, and fleet needs for current and future workloads.
• Schedule field personnel based on project requirements, certifications, and availability.
• Coordinate employee PTO, training schedules, and workforce availability.
• Manage fleet and equipment readiness through preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Monitor utilization to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to support executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Supervisors, Safety, and Administration to resolve scheduling challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and resource allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
