Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking candidates for its Management in Training (MIT) Program, an entry-level, hands‑on training track based in our distribution warehouses across the U.S. You will receive six months of guidance in Operations, Management, and Purchasing, with classroom sessions and on-site practice.

Upon completion, graduates are eligible to apply for Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide. Training includes relocation support and potential nationwide opportunities, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership/work experience in a related role.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company expense).
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• Ability to maneuver heavy machinery (pallet jacks, forklifts) and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training and perform duties in Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced employees to learn methods and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
• Participate in classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Present to senior management upon completion of the MIT program.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
