Job summary

TCI Group in Jacksonville is seeking an Operations Manager to provide coordination and administrative guidance across departmental functions. You will participate in the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and practices to enhance operations and customer responsiveness.

Essential duties include policy development, program management, staff supervision, and improving process flows. Strong communication and leadership are essential for this exempt, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review and guide department in process, operations and system flow.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Lead and support development of departmental programs and projects.
• Represent the department at meetings.
• Meet with employees on departmental issues and initiatives.
• Respond to departmental questions and problems.
• Assist with employee training and development needs.
• Supervise assigned staff.
• Operate and troubleshoot machines and office equipment as needed.
• Compare and assess documentation and equipment against standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
