Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will lead process improvement, labor forecasting, procurement and inventory, safety and risk management, and provide staff training and development.

Using BrightPath, Power BI and field systems, you will monitor KPIs, report progress to the Branch Manager and collaborate with vendors, clients, and teams to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4 year degree in a landscape or business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in construction or landscaping industry.
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry.
• Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and programs including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, FSM, BrightPath, MFP/WAR calls.
• Experience with mobile applications and software including but not limited to, retrieving email from a mobile device, accessing, and using mobile applications, taking, and sharing pictures.
• Demonstrates ability to function successfully in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to create and foster a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth, efficient performance.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Forecast labor needs and manage weekly and monthly labor planners.
• Monitor expenses and allocate resources to meet financial targets.
• Provide training, development, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Ensure procurement and inventory are sourced properly and managed.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and risk management programs.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress to the Branch Manager.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to deliver on time.
