Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Operations Management Trainee to support shop management, drive cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives. You will work across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management, with a fast-paced program designed to develop your operations and fleet maintenance background.

The ideal path is to become an Ops Supervisor. Requires a completed 4-year degree, location in Morton, MA, Monday–Friday schedule, 1:00pm–9:30pm hours, and

Qualifications

Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheets and word processing.
1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.
Basic understanding of business finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer interface and proactive management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with rental and sales to maximize utilization and revenue while protecting lease customers.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Management and Marketing to support customer goals.
Oversee PM scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; plan technician work efficiently.
Support cost management by monitoring running costs and maintenance overheads.
