Job summary

POOLCORP in Mooresville, NC, invites applicants to the Management in Training – Operations (MIT) Program, an entry‑level, hands‑on training track based in our distribution warehouse. It provides six months of guidance to learn swimming pool supply, irrigation and landscaping distribution.

Graduates may move into Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide. Training is on‑site with relocation assistance after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with 2.5 GPA minimum.
• Leadership and problem solving experience in warehouse or distribution.
• Ability to relocate during/after program at company expense.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in all distribution center areas including Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance and retail customers to learn business aspects.
• Attend classroom sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Set and achieve performance goals with MIT Programs Manager and Employee Development Manager.
• Present to senior management on program completion.
