Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Management Trainee in Atlanta to support the shop management process and drive cost savings, customer retention, and metrics-based initiatives.

The role requires cross-functional work across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental. You will handle customer relationships, coordinate with Rental and Sales, and help optimize running costs and maintenance overhead while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.
• Strong PC knowledge including spreadsheets and word processing.
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality customer interface and proactive issue resolution to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Rental to maximize utilization while supporting lease customers.
• Collaborate with Sales on customer calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overhead and ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
