Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an Operations Trainee in Pittsburgh to support shop management, drive cost savings and customer retention while developing in a fast-paced environment.

You will work cross-functionally across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management to gain hands-on industry knowledge and build an operations and fleet maintenance background; progression toward an Ops Supervisor role is envisioned based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality customer interface and proactive management to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental department to maximize utilization while protecting lease customers.
• Assist Sales with customer calls for new business and higher satisfaction.
• Help manage running costs and maintenance overheads; ensure policies optimize expenses.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee PM scheduling, breakdowns, vehicle status, and technician work planning.
