Job summary

POOLCORP is offering a Management in Training – Operations (MIT) program based in our distribution warehouse in Plano, Texas. This entry-level, hands-on program spans six months with on-site training and company-supported relocation options.

Graduates may apply for Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide upon completion, with classroom and on-the-job training across operations, purchasing, and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA in an related field.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience in a leadership or similar role.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel up to 25% and operate in a distribution warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training and perform duties across Operations, Management, and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe experienced staff to learn procedures, performance standards, and center operations.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and store customers to understand the pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
• Participate in classroom sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX covering operations, financials, leadership, and systems.
• Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management upon program completion.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
