Job summary

Target is offering a paid 40 hr./week Operations Intern program within its Supply Chain Facilities. You will work with managers and team members to understand daily operations, lead and motivate a team, and gain exposure to multiple business areas while learning from a Mentor.

The role focuses on building team culture, problem solving, and learning CI methods, with opportunities to lead a department and contribute to safety and productivity. Flexible shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and leadership experience.
• Interest in retail and supply chain operations.
• Ability to lead in a team environment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations under supervision to learn workflow and standards.
• Lead daily team priorities and support planning with mentors.
• Contribute to safety, quality and productivity improvements using standard processes.
• Learn and apply CI methodologies to drive lean improvements in the distribution center.
