Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Operations Leader Trainee in a 12–18 month Career Development Program, featuring on-the-job training, job shadowing, and leadership development. You’ll rotate across branch segments, partner with mentors, and complete leadership-focused curricula to accelerate your career.

You’ll work with a robust support system, learn core operations and systems, and gain exposure to senior leadership while delivering a capstone project to showcase your impact.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate upon completing the program.
• Able to start the program between March and June.
• Driven to succeed with an energetic, professional, and goal-oriented attitude.
• Strong operations focus, including the ability to partner with customers to develop value-added solutions.
• Strong communication skills and experience conversing with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Experiences rotational assignments in various segments of the branch business with on-the-job training to learn business systems and processes, as well as company culture.
• Receives an inclusive career experience with dedicated resources to ensure a successful long-term career path at White Cap.
• Participates in a tailored learning curriculum with leadership development sessions, operations training, and systems training.
• Benefits from a robust support system; each Operations Leader Trainee will be assigned a Regional Advocate, Mentor, and additional process coaches.
• Has exposure to Senior Leadership at White Cap throughout the program.
• Presents a capstone project to White Cap leadership, creating exposure across the company.
