Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role includes in-role training at an operating site for 6+ weeks, located 50+ miles from the home site, with travel booked and paid by Amazon.

You will drive data-based improvements, manage multiple workflow components (First mile, Middle mile, Last mile), and collaborate with Safety, HR, and support teams to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work in varying noise and temperatures, including outside loading areas.
