Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking a Manager, Operations to lead end-to-end service center execution across pickup and delivery, dock operations, OS&D, linehaul, and office functions onsite in Philadelphia. You will ensure alignment with profitability targets, service standards, and network performance while maintaining safety and discipline.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 4–5 years of operations management in transportation or logistics, strong financial acumen, and experience leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–5 years of operations management experience in transportation/logistics.
• Proven experience leading multi-functional operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor, revenue components, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service center execution across pickup/delivery, dock ops, OS&D, linehaul, and admin.
• Monitor and manage key drivers including TOCs, revenue, labor, and freight manifests.
• Develop, track, and communicate performance metrics aligned with center and corporate goals.
• Hire, onboard, and develop service center staff; provide ongoing performance feedback.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and risk management with contractors and regulatory standards.
