Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily service center execution—covering pickup, delivery, dock operations, and administrative functions. This role drives profitability targets, safety, and service standards while building high-performing teams.

You will monitor labor costs, TOCs, and freight manifests, delivering data-driven performance insights. On-site leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in a fast-paced logistics network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–5 years of operations management experience.
• Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing labor, revenue components, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and general business systems; AS/400 experience preferred.
• HazMat certification and forklift qualification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication skills across all levels including corporate stakeholders and external partners.
• Data-driven with the ability to analyze complex scenarios and apply logical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service center execution across dock operations, linehaul, pickup and delivery, and office functions.
• Monitor and manage TOCs, revenue components, labor expenses, and freight manifests.
• Develop, track, and communicate performance metrics aligned with service center objectives.
• Hire, onboarding, training, and development of service center personnel.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management including HazMat and safety standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational alignment and network performance.
