Roadrunner is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day service center execution, overseeing dock operations, linehaul, pickup/delivery, and admin. You will drive performance, cost control, and team development while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and urgency in a fast-paced logistics environment. Onsite role in Dallas, with full benefits and a focus on operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4–5 years of operations management experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Strong leadership experience managing multi-functional teams in fast-paced service environment.
• Proven financial acumen, with ability to manage labor, revenue components, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service center execution across dock operations, linehaul, pickup/delivery, and admin.
• Develop and track metrics aligning with service center objectives and cost targets.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop service center personnel; provide feedback and growth opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management with safety standards and government regulations.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with corporate teams, service centers, and external partners.
