Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage daily dock, freight, and service center activities in Philadelphia, ensuring precision, safety, and financial discipline. The role supports a growing Smart Network and protects shipment integrity across linehaul and local delivery functions.

As the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee load planning, budgeting, safety compliance, and multi-team leadership to deliver reliable service outcomes and terminal profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant operations or logistics experience or equivalent
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations preferred
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and evaluate team members
• Strong working knowledge of safety protocols, compliance standards, and hazmat handling (Hazmat certification preferred)
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Execute dock and terminal operations with precision and efficiency.
• Optimize service center performance and manage costs.
• Drive safety, compliance, and risk management in the terminal.
• Lead and develop frontline teams with clear expectations.
• Coordinate across network stakeholders including linehaul contractors and internal teams.
