Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily dock, freight, and service center activities with a focus on accuracy, safety, and financial discipline. The role translate network strategy into execution, balancing throughput with cost control in an LTL environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant operations experience, forklift certification, and strong data skills. Onsite Charlotte, NC with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations preferred.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate team members.
• Strong safety, compliance, and HazMat handling knowledge (Hazmat preferred).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dock operations including load planning, freight handling, and linehaul coordination.
• Ensure freight processing with accurate routing, documentation, and data entry; maintain load quality and minimize damages.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and risk management aligned with DOT/OSHA standards; enforce policies.
• Supervise and coach service center personnel with clear expectations and accountability.
• Coordinate with linehaul contractors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure seamless freight movement.
