Job summary

Verra Mobility, a global leader in smart transportation, seeks an Operations Supervisor for Event Processing within the Government Solutions division. The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer-centric service, and effective staffing to meet SLA targets.

The supervisor will coach staff, monitor inventory and forecasts, and collaborate with HR to address performance issues, while driving process improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of leadership experience; supervisory background is a plus.
• Ability to develop and engage with employees.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develops and motivates employees through coaching and performance reviews.
• Monitors inventory levels and forecasts to ensure adequate staffing for SLA targets.
• Fosters a work environment where employees feel valued and engaged.
• Conducts regular 1-on-1s and team meetings to communicate updates.
• Addresses performance or behavior issues with HR involvement as needed.
• Tracks attendance and applies progressive discipline when required.
• Builds relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
• Drives process improvements and change initiatives across the department.
• Manages escalated customer issues via phone, email, or in person.
