Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Event Processing) to lead a remote team responsible for event processing. You will manage staffing and inventory to meet SLA commitments, coach staff, and coordinate with HR on performance issues while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of leadership, and solid MS Office/Excel skills for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of leadership experience.
• Ability to develop and successfully engage with employees.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops and motivates employees through coaching and performance reviews.
• Manages day-to-day operations by monitoring inventory levels and forecasts to meet SLA requirements.
• Fosters an engaging work environment where employees feel valued.
• Conducts regular 1-on-1s and team meetings.
• Collaborates with HR to address sensitive performance issues promptly.
• Tracks attendance and applies progressive discipline as needed.
• Builds relationships with internal departments, customers, and vendors.
• Drives process improvements and organizational change across the department.
• Addresses escalated customer issues via in-person, phone, or email.
