Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in Plano, Texas is seeking a Coordinator, Operational Excellence to support the Building & Construction Business with quotations, billing, and a broad range of administrative tasks. The role requires strong organizational and proofreading skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines as part of a team.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years' experience in an Administrative or Coordinator role
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong prioritization, organization, and time management
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete projects within standards, objectives and timeframes

Responsibilities

• Assist with generating, proofreading and issuing quotations/proposals
• Assist with quotation/proposal follow-up
• Create documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office
• Perform general office duties (faxing, copying, mailing, filing)
• Assist with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and invoice payments
• Assist in developing, updating and/or reviewing local operating procedures/work instructions
• Communicate with clients and staff
• Assist in proofreading and finalizing reports
