Job summary

United Site Services is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily transportation activities and ensure service goals are met. You will coordinate dispatch, route drivers, and resolve customer issues to maintain reliable service across our locations in the United States.

You will field calls, update customers on delivery times, assist drivers during emergencies, and collaborate with the customer service team on scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Communicate information and instructions to drivers (schedules, route changes, road conditions, emergencies).
• Handle all customer call-ins and provide delivery/service updates.
• Make outgoing calls to customers regarding issues such as missed services.
• Support drivers during emergencies and provide resources.
• Coordinate with the customer service team on scheduling deliveries.
• Post route details and sequences for pickups and deliveries.
• Review driver manifests and document delivery information.
• Conduct route checks to ensure accuracy of posted information.
• Keep the Operations Manager informed of issues and resolutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
