United Site Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Stamford, CT to manage daily transportation activities, dispatch routing, and customer communications.

You will field calls from employees and customers, coordinate driver schedules, and help resolve delivery or service issues to keep operations running on time. The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and teamwork with field technicians and customer care teams.

Responsibilities

• Communicate information and instructions to drivers (schedules, route changes, road conditions, emergencies).
• Handle all customer call-ins and update customers on delivery times.
• Make outgoing calls regarding issues such as locked gates and missed services.
• Support drivers during emergencies and provide resources to assist.
• Coordinate with the customer service department on scheduling deliveries or services.
• Post routes and pick-ups; sequence routes as needed.
• Review driver manifests and document pencil notes with drivers.
• Ensure manifest accuracy and post information correctly.
• Keep Operations Manager updated on issues and resolutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
