Job summary

United Site Services is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage daily transportation communications, dispatch drivers, and ensure service and delivery goals are achieved on time. This role will handle driver routing, fielding calls from employees and customers, and resolving account or service issues.

You will collaborate with the customer care team on scheduling deliveries, review driver manifests at day’s end, and perform route checks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate information and instructions to drivers (schedules, route changes, road conditions, accidents, emergencies, etc.).
• Handle all customer call-ins and update customers on expected delivery/service times.
• Make outgoing calls to customers regarding issues such as locked gates and missed services.
• Support drivers during reported emergencies and provide appropriate resources.
• Coordinate with the customer service team on scheduling deliveries or services.
• Post route & pickups and sequences routes as needed.
• Review driver manifests at end of day and capture delivery/service information.
• Conduct route checks to ensure manifest accuracy for posting.
• Keep Operations Manager updated on issues and resolutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
