Mercy is seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to provide clerical and payroll-related support in a healthcare environment. The role emphasizes maintaining employee records and assisting HR tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. bachelor’s degree is a plus and teamwork is essential.
Under the direction of the Executive Director, will perform a wide variety of duties to provide clerical and administrative support. Activities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of employee files, completion of payroll, and insuring adequate and proper unit and office supplies. Interacts with employees and members of other departments. Assists in unit operational support tasks; assists with Human Resources management; works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals. Responds within authorized scope of knowledge and skills.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of three to five years' secretarial/clerical level experience required.
Other:
Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications required.
Must have excellent written, oral and human relations skills, attention to detail and follow through and the ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
