Job summary

Wayfair's 10-week summer internship in Boston, MA offers hands-on experience on real operations projects. You will analyze supply chain data, build dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actions that improve speed, cost, and reliability.

This hybrid program runs June–August 2027, with in-office Monday–Thursday and one remote Friday. Interns return to their studies afterward, and Wayfair does not sponsor visas for this role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, or Business Operations with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future (no STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and SQL or GBQ.
• Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex supply chain operations using data‑driven methodologies to build strategic business cases that optimize speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop clear, interactive dashboards and visual reports in Google Sheets or Looker Data Studio to elevate operational visibility for stakeholders.
• Spearhead cross‑functional initiatives across Operations, Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence to tackle systemic supply chain bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous process and tool innovations, taking full ownership of problem‑solving from initial diagnostic to final execution.
• Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with suppliers, carriers, and field teams to ensure operational improvements scale with company growth.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly with peers and leadership to foster high‑impact teamwork.
