Job summary

Wayfair's 10-week summer internship in Boston, MA offers hands-on experience on real operations projects. You will analyze supply chain data, build dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actions that improve speed, cost, and reliability.

This hybrid program runs June–August 2027, with in-office Monday–Thursday and one remote Friday. Interns return to their studies afterward, and Wayfair does not sponsor visas for this role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, or Business Operations with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future (no STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and SQL or GBQ.
• Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship.

The base pay for this position is $26 per hour.

This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday).

Drive the strategic engine behind Wayfair’s proprietary supply chain as an Operations Analyst. Collaborating cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Business Intelligence and operations teams, you will tackle high‑stakes end‑to‑end logistics challenges and translate complex data into actionable competitive advantages. In this role, your insights will directly optimize our global distribution network from overseas factories to customer doorsteps, shaping the future of e‑commerce delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Develop clear, interactive dashboards and visual reports in Google Sheets or Looker Data Studio to elevate operational visibility for stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as Analytics, Supply Chain, or Business Operations, with the expectation that degree will be obtained between December 2027 and May 2028
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and SQL or GBQ
• Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship

• Strong business acumen: ability to understand how various parts of the business interact; can identify and approach problems from a customer or supplier perspective
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills: excited about working with and synthesizing big data into actionable insights; comfortable using data software to conduct analyses and synthesize findings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to summarize and share results with key stakeholders
• Strong comfort level and appetite to use AI in daily workflow
