Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. in Huntington, WV is seeking an Operations Coordinator to help identify, plan and complete projects within the operations team. The role requires strong Excel and Word skills and a focus on process improvement and quality management.

You will assist with training, workflow documentation, and collaboration across divisions to ensure scalable, efficient operations and reliable internal customer support across branches, treasury and lending teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Minimum of three years experience in banking, preferably in operations.
• Leadership skills preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other programs; ability to learn banking software.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, developing and controlling department activities to accomplish objectives.
• Assist in documentation, standardization and measurement of key business processes for TQM and efficiency.
• Provide internal customer support to branches, treasury management and lending personnel on deposit/loan records.
• Develop and implement operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals to improve scalability, automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive scalability and automation and foster cross-department collaboration.
• Attend meetings and partner engagements with other bank lines to ensure alignment.
• Maintain policies, SOX control documentation, risk assessments and other controls.
• Resolve complex issues within areas of responsibility and document process flows for assigned systems.
• Assist in maintaining repository of procedures, processes, job aids and critical information for functional areas.
• Drive effective use of technology within functional areas and manage multiple projects.
