Job summary

Pacific Endo-Surgical Center is hiring a Charge Nurse to lead operating room staff and ensure efficient case flow. This full-time role requires a California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and perioperative experience.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, meetings, educating staff, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining compliance with ASC policies. You will work closely with the manager and materials teams to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current California RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the clinical staff to provide a daily smooth flow of cases.
• Assists in coordination of daily/weekly case scheduling to ensure the schedule will flow smoothly.
• Prepares staffing schedules.
• Coordinate and perform monthly staff meetings for all departments.
• Communicate effectively with physicians to resolve issues and provide efficiency and smooth case flow.
• Reviews equipment needed for cases.
• Coordinate inventory request with the material manager.
• Assists with education by coordinating and/or giving in-services.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve equipment or instrument issues by coordinating ordering or getting repairs done.
• Communicate with vendors and representatives for supplies, equipment or instruments that are needed for cases.
• Works closely with Materials and Sterile Processing Dept to coordinate supplies & instrument needs.
• Assists in preparing annual evaluations
• Works closely with manager/administrator with hiring and orienting clinical staff members
• Assistance in maintaining compliance for AAAHC surveys
• Enters company data collections and observations with company data system.
• Assistance with staff counseling as necessary
• Coordinates and assists in Performance Improvement Projects.
