Alta Hospital in Los Angeles area seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to lead unit operations, oversee RNs, LVNs and CNAs, and ensure high-quality patient care on the assigned shift. The role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities include directing care plans, coaching staff, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with physicians to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• AHA Basic Life Saving certification.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• LEADERSHIP: Oversees unit operations, assigns staff, coaches and evaluates performance.
• PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL PRACTICE: Supervises RNs, LVNs and CNAs and provides direct patient care as needed.
• PLAN OF CARE: Develops goals with treating physicians and directs staff in ongoing assessments and care plans.
• COLLABORATION: Coordinates with physicians and health care team for safe, high-quality care.
• COMMUNICATION: Demonstrates empathy and effective communication with patients, families and staff.
