Job summary

Planet Fitness Whitestown is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide friendly service to members, prospects and guests. You will handle sign-ups, tours, and inquiries while upholding a Judgement Free environment.

Starting at $12 per hour, the role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with clean, safe facilities and opportunities for growth within a large fitness network.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members and prospects, sign up new members and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverages or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 4:45am- 12:45pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
