Job summary

Planet Fitness in Chambersburg, PA is hiring a Customer Service Representative who will deliver a superior member experience and support prospective members. The role offers starting pay at $12 per hour with growth opportunities and shift-differential pay on select shifts.

Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting members, processing sign-ups, logging amenities, and promoting PF classes while maintaining a clean and safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, guests, and prospective members.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner following information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote PF classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Job Location: L013 Chambersburg - Chambersburg, PA 17202, Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour. Monday-Thursday 10:00PM-6:00AM

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
