Job summary

Planet Fitness is hiring a Customer Service Representative at our Keystone area club in Indianapolis, IN 46220. The role offers full-time hours with a starting wage of $12 per hour and regular increases across the first year.

Expect shifts Monday through Friday with weekend options, and a benefits package for eligible staff. Responsibilities include greeting members, processing sign-ups, answering inquiries, and promoting fitness classes while maintaining a clean and welcoming club environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up new members, and tour facilities
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the point of sale
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment

SHIFTS:

• Mondays: 4:45am - 12:45pm
• Tuesday to Friday: 6am - 2pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
