Job summary

Planet Fitness Crawfordsville is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to assist members, sign up new members, and provide a friendly guest experience at our Crawfordsville club.

Starting at $12 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year. Flexible weekend/evening shifts and benefits such as PTO and an Employee Assistance Program are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Saturday 1pm-7:15pm, Tuesday thru Thursday 6pm-11pm, Friday 5pm-9pm

Schedule B

Sunday 1pm-7:15pm, Saturday, Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 5pm-9pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
