Job summary

Carle Health in Santa Clara, CA seeks an experienced surgical technologist to support OR teams. You will assist surgeons, prepare operative and invasive procedures, and maintain sterile technique.

You will set up sterile fields, scrub in, and coordinate case flow with circulating staff. BLS required; associate degree or certificate in surgical technology; 1+ year experience preferred. This role offers sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 3 months (AHA).
• Associate’s degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology.
• 1+ years of experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific operative/invasive procedures with timely accuracy and efficiency.
• Set up sterile field and be scrubbed prior to induction.
• Set up case to allow back table and mayo to be organized and ready.
