Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced surgical technologist to assist surgeons and prepare operative cases in our operating rooms. You will scrub in, arrange instruments, anticipate needs, and support the team through varied procedures, ensuring sterility and timely case flow.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or certificate in surgical technology, BLS certification, and 1+ years of experience in the OR. Relocation bonus may apply, with sign-on incentives expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in surgical technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months.
• 1+ years of experience in the OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with sterile setup and proper instruments.
• Scrub and assist across a range of procedures, ensuring readiness of equipment.
• Anticipate intraoperative needs and adapt to surgeon preferences and case changes.
• Maintain clear communication with team to support efficient and safe operations.
