Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support a range of operative procedures. You will prepare for surgeries, scrub in, set up sterile fields, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure efficient case turnover. Experience with Mayo setups and instrument management is valued.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 3 months (AHA).
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology or Certificate in Surgical Technology required/preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in surgical tech recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with timely, accurate setup.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and sutures are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub before induction.
• Arrange back table and mayo stand; keep items available as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgeon to anticipate case needs and adjust plans.
