Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operative and invasive procedures. The role involves preparing for procedures, setting up sterile fields, scrubbing in, and assisting surgeons with instrument and mayo setup while adapting to surgeon preferences.

Qualifications include BLS certification within 3 months, an associate degree or certificate in Surgical Technology, and 1+ years of experience preferred.

• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or a Certificate in Surgical Technology.
• 1+ years of experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with accurate setup.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and sutures are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub prior to induction; assist as needed.
• Run mayo setup independently when required; adapt to surgeon preferences.
• Communicate and collaborate with team to support efficient cases.
